Please check your child’s homework calendar on a daily basis to reinforce the importance of recording daily homework assignments. There is a space for parent initials at the bottom of every day’s entry. Please initial after you have reviewed your child’s entries.
Book orders are due Friday, May 11.
It is expected that your child will work for a minimum of one hour per week on Compass Learning. I will print weekly reports showing minutes on Compass Learning and turn it into the office for the Principal’s Challenge. 
Word Study/Spelling: Log on to SpellingCity.com and find our class’ spelling list. Work on some activities, and then take a test. When you get a 100% on the list you are currently working on, move onto the next list.
Monday:
Read for 1/2 hour and record on log.

Tuesday:
Read for 1/2 hour and record on log.

Work on the spelling lists housed on the Spelling City website.
Wednesday:
Wear orange to represent the Fairness character pillar.
Running club, wear appropriate footwear.

College Friday. Wear college gear.
Parents are to sign reading record/log and initial Clean Slate Charts.
